Just a quick note to let you guys know how much I appreciate your tumblr experience, and especially your experience with Fuck Yeah! Friendly Fire. I value this SO much so, in fact, that I refuse to post pictures or posts that feature hidden links that take you guys to some spammy website.
Now that doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t still share the pic. Though these bloggers make me have to do a bit more work, I just repost these items sans the annoying spam links that we all hate. It would be nice if Tumblr restored our ability to edit the hidden links as in years past, wouldn’t it?
Don’t you just hate it when you’re browsing a tumblog and see a great pic that you want to see maximized, and the doofus original poster has it linked to some website you couldn’t care less about? So you’re good and horny, jacking off, want to see the action up close and BOOM, you get taken to some pay porn site. Dafuq? Yeah, I hate that too. So homie don’t play dat. Not happening here.
Additionally, bloggers whose post captions only consist of some annoying link back to their blog, or even better… the ones who think they’re REALLY creative and simply put “.” in the caption, so that those of us who re-blog it will give them an automatic linkback, will find their posts edited here as well. Few things on this platform are more frustrating than when a caption to a post has 5 people who have reblogged it and have added something like, “FOLLOW ME… 50K followers… ibeatmymeat.tumblr.com.”
C’mon, people. If your content is good and you post regularly, the followers will come. And cum. Stop the madness.
